With over five decades of experience, Charles R. Taylor, M.A. is a respected and pioneering audiologist dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with hearing loss. Practicing audiology since 1973, Charles brings unmatched expertise, compassion, and a deep understanding of hearing healthcare to every patient he serves.
Charles earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama and his Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Alabama. Early in his career, he founded the first rehabilitation audiology program at the Tennessee Valley Rehabilitation Center and became the first private practice audiologist in North Central Alabama—a milestone that reflects his commitment to expanding access to quality hearing care.
Throughout his distinguished career, Charles has worked alongside ENT physicians and otologists, gaining valuable multidisciplinary experience in both diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. He holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). Known for his warm demeanor and patient-centered approach, Charles remains passionate about helping individuals reconnect with the world of sound through personalized hearing solutions and compassionate care.
